Vincent Lombardi once said, “The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavour”. This is true since on 4th February 2011, the Founder and Legal Representative of Rwanda Tourism University College, Madam MUKARUBEGA Zulfat, was honoured as the Woman Entrepreneur of the year by Rwanda Development Board (RDB). This is an initiative to recognize and reward the impeccable achievement of women entrepreneurs in the private sector. The Board of Directors, Management and Student body would like to congratulate her on this achievement.

She founded a vocational training school in 2007 which later on turned into a university in 2008. Rwanda Tourism University College (RTUC) is an institution of higher learning that provides undergraduate programmes in Travel and Tourism Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Information Technology and a number of Vocational training courses tailored to meet the needs of the working students who wish to upgrade their skills and knowledge.

A strong foundation is nothing more than good education because, in education lies the key to success in ones life, the nation and to humanity as a whole.My target is to teach and train each and every one in order to achieve quality and professionalism both in the local and international front.

RTUC is an institution where excellence is a tradition; it is a place for those women and men who shall be pioneers; it is a place for those who shall experiment with the cutting edge of contemporary thought and creative expression; and it is a place for those who shall dare give shape to their aspirations and cherished dreams.

I wish RTUC students to achieve good goals in their chosen fields and not only to use but to produce their individual talents. RTUC provides experiences that help students discover their innate capabilities, set life-long goals and proactively  work towards their fulfillment.
